Detailing Question

1) when using a foam cannon is it necessary to use a wash pad or will rinsing with a pressure washer be enough? I guess it depends on how dirty the car is?

2) Iron x, does this remove wax? Will I need to seal and wax after an iron x treatment?

Thanks

Normal Dishwashing soap will strip all wax.

Normal dishwash soap may also cause damage due to the salt content.

Iron x won't completely remove wax, but it'll degrade it. Use something like tardis to remove wax.

Snow foaming is only a prewash, it does not replace a shampoo and wash mitt

Not sure what dishwashing soap you are using there....but dishwashing soap (dawn) shouldnt have salt in it.

if anything people are afraid of drying out seals with washing with Dish Washing soap but that is also a myth.
