![]() Featured on BIMMERPOST.com ![]() Tires are basically shot; so I need to replace those. Had originally planned to get new wheels (thinking Apex ARC-8 or Sportline TE.6) at that time, and continue to run the H&R lowering springs currently on the car. The other option is to get new rubber for the OEM wheels, some spacers, and a set of H&R coilovers. Ideally, I'd like to do both this year, but don't think the budget will allow that; so one may have to wait till next year. Car has 35k miles on it, and H&R springs have been on for about 25k miles. Basically just street use - maybe 1 or 2 driving events a year. The M will be paid off this summer; so holding off on the wheels would leave me with a bigger budget for those next year.

Agreed. It just makes sense to do the wheels if you have to buy tires. However, if you have your heart set on an aggressive fitment that won't work without increased camber you might be better off finding some cheap rubber for now and doing coilovers first which you'll get quite a bit of enjoyment out of. If you choose that route maybe see if a member nearby has some seldom or never used stock wheels with good tires laying around the garage that they wouldn't mind getting out of the way.

You do know that the TE.6 don't come in 5x120 (BMW fitment)?
