Trunk LED Project Result
Cost: $4.75
I was tired of not being able to see anything in my trunk with that one bulb in the corner. So I decided to do something about it. I know there's a DIY floating around here somewhere, I did this within 2 minutes. Literally. I bought an LED strip for $4 and a T10 adapter for $0.75 ![]() Result: ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by djoutcry; 01-20-2013 at 08:32 AM. |

I want to know about the adapter. I installed mine by wrapping the wires carefully, but a real adapter would be nice.

Just upgraded my trunk bulb as well. Picked up a four LED 5050 flat from eBay for 1.99 including shipping from HK. It's not as bright as yours but just plugs into the old bulb socket so it's a 10 second swap and I would say its at least twice as bright as stock.
My blue interior LEDs are on their way! |
