I signed up too, for electronic edition only, didn't want to give these guys a real address because it doesn't look like it's actually from AutoWeek. So I got the same confirmation message about starting on the 13th. Really? No email confirmation to the address I signed up. I have a feeling this is some kind of data harvesting scam. We'll see soon enough.

Edit: I just ran a whois on the domain research.net - it's Survey Monkey's own domain, the tool whoever ran this uses, meaning we have NO idea who is really gathering the data. Now I'm even more in doubt of it being legit.

Just received my hard copy subscription in the mail today!...I used to be a subscriber years ago when it was in a newspaper format and Satch Carlson hadn't left the publication yet...too bad, always enjoyed his articles

...anyone else remember those days?

My apologies for the previous misstatement...my memory was obviously fuzzy on this ... no one was a bigger fan of his writing than I...only lamenting that he had to leave the paper at the time....
