Change from miles to km's possible?

Can the odometer be changed from miles to km's?

Yes I think so, but you'd have to bring the car into the dealer and have them hook it up to the computer and tweak some settings. Pretty sure they'll want to charge you an arm and a leg for it though :/

Yes, via programming at the dealership. The only imperial-metric change you can do yourself is the temp (F - C).

Min was done straight from the cluster. I turned to degrees on the dash and then pressed and held the s\r button. Changed over.

To be clear, you cannot change the odometer from miles to kilometers or vice versa yourself, the dealer will have to do that. If you are close to the border, a US dealer may be cheaper.

You can change the temperature display between farenheit and celsius by pressing and holding the button on the end of the stalk on the steering column.

I have two arms and two legs so dealer shouldn't be too bad.

......I thought you had one of the coding software packages?
Would have though it could be done that way.

When my buddy was bringing his Z4 into Canada last year, I found a dealer in Maine close to the Canadian border who quoted something like $50 to $100 to do all kinds of programing and set ups on the car, like the odometer thing, daytime running lights, doors lock on drive off, and whatever else my buddy wanted. Too bad they are the exception to the rule!
