Installing Tuner, Where to Tap for Positive?
Full disclosure, I am 100% newb when it comes to car audio/video. With that said, I'm going to install an Alpine HD tuner in conjunction with my Intravee. I have all the adapters necessary to tap into the factory antenna. However, one basic question is where to tap the power?
The manual here on page 7 shows it being connected to the positive terminal of the battery. I'm assuming it needs a constant positive source, but can't I simply tap into the positive wire of any trunk lights? http://support.alpine-usa.com/produc...TUA-T550HD.pdf

No, I tried finding a consistent o(in the trunk) with the wiring, and couldn't find any.
Your battery is right there, that works. You have have to run the power line up to the tuner.
