Need help checking out a car in Chicago area

Hi there fellow Z owners. I live in Ontario, Canada, and am looking at picking up a Z4MR in Rolling Meadows.

I was wondering if I could convince a Chicago area Z owner to take a drive to the dealer there and check it out for me. I am having them take it to a BMW dealer for a mechanical inspection so I really just need to know if the paint and interior are in good shape before I spend the money.

I'd be happy to compensate you for your time...maple syrup? Canadian beer?? Anything else stereotypically Canadian???

I might be able to swing by tomorrow, if that would work. A friend of mine lives out in the 'burbs and I'm visiting him tomorrow. Rolling Meadows/Exotic Motors is in the opposite direction, but he's e-mailed saying in terms of time it's just a half-hour out of the way I want to clear up what route he's talking about and I'll pm if I can swing by tomorrow. The Sepang/Light Sepang/Madeira combo is one of my favorites - good choice.

Good news and bad. Turns out my friend's gathering is on Sunday, not today, and the dealership is closed tomorrow (as with all IL dealers). But since I mistakenly thought it was today, I didn't make other plans, so I've got time to swing by and check out the car for you. I'll report back this afternoon.
