remote problem

I changed out the auto-dim rearview mirror with a standard BMW mirror designed for the Z4 and now the remote doesn't work. Any input on how to sinc the remote?

Wow I just had the link to how to program remotes just a couple days ago. I'll look for it for ya.

Thanks for every ones input and information. I've tried all the programming, and still no luck. I think I might have to take it to a BMW dealer to have it reprogrammed.
