In all honesty??? i dont think we can Ever really start talking about weight loss benefits when we have 30lb of supercharger and cooling gear for the s/c up front..... Once we get into seat installs, now were talking, as were offsetting a good chunk of added weight...
a bit off topic, but:

the lighter brakes help with handling, but don't make enough of a difference to be felt in acceleration. Keep in mind my 265/35/18 setup is shorter overall diameter than stock, so its almost like a mild differential upgrade.

Are you sure we only added 30lbs with the supercharger? I though it was closer to 60lbs from random memory. I lost 26lbs with my battery, so that would be a nice offset. Ignoring the weight distribution until I buy coilovers to compensate for that. I'm gonna take off my front mount intercooler and weigh it. I finally got a proper digital scale for my weight loss plans.

I missed out on the lotus seats, but they were $500 overpriced.

sorry guys, back to the thread

tom its no-where near 60lbs.... i weighted in the stock stuff, that came in @ 38lbs (lots of metal brackets).... so with that subtracted the ess stuff came in a just under 30lbs added in the end.... i was pretty pleased with that....

I'll take your word for it. Thats really good news. I may look into getting a custom LTW FMIC, depending on cost

Id like to also get a bigger but more lightweight unit made with a better design end cap... Have to say its a solid piece however.... Let me know what your thinking in your thread in the motor section.

Sorry everybody.
