Uneven brake pad wear (left right)

I just noticed that my passenger side rear brake pad has about 2mm less pad left than the other side. Any idea why?

On a seperate note, this is why it's good to check both sides rather than just 1. I usually only check the driver side, because I park right up against a wall on the passenger side. I have about 3mm left on the drive side, but I'm almost down to the metal on the other side

Normal. DSC activates more often on the passenger side than the driver's side due to the nature of the way we drive (on-ramps and off-ramps are almost always right hand turns). Unless you live in UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan, or Australia.

Then why do you have $3,000 worth of suspension mods on your car?

So what you're saying is, I should turn off DSC all the time ?

This may be a stupid question, but does the DSC kick in even when the yellow traction light is not flashing?

Yes and yes. Especially if you have an M (limited slip) and knows what you're doing.
