Uneven brake pad wear (left right)
I just noticed that my passenger side rear brake pad has about 2mm less pad left than the other side. Any idea why?
On a seperate note, this is why it's good to check both sides rather than just 1. I usually only check the driver side, because I park right up against a wall on the passenger side. I have about 3mm left on the drive side, but I'm almost down to the metal on the other side ![]() |

Normal. DSC activates more often on the passenger side than the driver's side due to the nature of the way we drive (on-ramps and off-ramps are almost always right hand turns). Unless you live in UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan, or Australia.

?This may be a stupid question, but does the DSC kick in even when the yellow traction light is not flashing? |

Yes and yes. Especially if you have an M (limited slip) and knows what you're doing.
