unsure how legit tt website is, but if it's really us$820 for a brand new gruppe m, tt's quite the steal! direct from gruppe m japan after conversion is about us$1300 for comparison.

Never had a problem with my GruppeM
![]() I did notice the first 15 miles or so after installation the car was a little jerky, But after that there was a noticeable difference in pull from the engine on WOT, I do have the ESS tune however and I remember Roman saying the tune adapts to new mods such as intakes and exhausts so that could have been what happened, Now the car runs smooth and I love the look, sound, and feel of my GruppeM ![]() I actually coated the inside with gold foil to block heat, but I think its more for aesthetics as gold foil generally goes on the outside of things, Still looks unique ![]() ![]() ![]() (also replaced the blue silicone coupler that comes with the kit to this black one as suggested by Ron Stygar, The blue was just so out of place) ![]()

seriously killer price. do note a k&n recharge kit will be needed to keep the filter well-oiled every 5000 or so miles. want to chime in tt i'm more than satisfied with my gruppe m, even if it is a very steep bit of kit. it certainly adds depth and volume to the s54's growl, and i've noticed an improved throttle response after giving the dme a few days to completely adapt. i can't comment on any power gains, however, since i did not do a before/after dyno for this. then again, power gains would probably be minimal, at best.

I agree. 820 seems a lot more reasonable (still, a bit pricey for what it does or rather, doesn't do). I remember seeing J's Racing stuff for the S2000 going for 1400, but that was proven to add power. I wish I could this intake in person though; if it's as good as people keep saying it is, it could be worth it. Ha.
