Radio randomly going to AM?
Did a quick search but didn't find anything.
As of yesterday, when my radio is in the upper register of the FM stations (104+), it randomly switches over to AM (seemingly KCBS AM 740), then switches back. If I power the radio down or change stations everything goes back to normal, for a few seconds at least. It still lists "FM" on the bottom right, but the middle PTY part lets me know i'm listening to 24/7 news (which is how I figured out it was going to AM). It's the Business CD (whatever that means) OEM radio. Any ideas? Is this a known issue or am I the lucky one? It's driving me crazy. |
