did anyone remove their CDV?

I'm might remove the CDV in the future, has anyone did that already?
does it make a difference?

I didn't remove it, but used the modified valve (I'm still under warranty) and yes it makes a difference (not huge but makes a difference).

^+1. i also did a zeckhausen cdv swap. looks completely stock and has definitely helped with the excessive 'rubber-banding' effect in 1st and 2nd.

I see you're new to this forum. The CDV removal subject has been beat to death on this and other BMW Z forums. Do a search and you'll find a plethora of information on the subject.
General consensus is that CDV removal results in more positive clutch engagement.
