Z4M Coupè lambda sensor(oxigen sensor) problem
Hi Guys,
After two rounds of 20 minutes on the track the lambda sensor are broken, my car have 20.000KM 4 year(10/2006) engine and ecu is stock, have only xpipe and final muffler and bmc air panel filter, fuel 98 octane whitout any other addictive. what could be causing the problem? There are oxygen sensors aftemarket ? bmw stock part is not good! thansk Andrea sorry for my english (i'm from Italy)

I have lots and lots of track days on my car and I have not had my sensors fail. The BMW part is good... maybe there was something else that caused them to fail

It's a wear part, 20k km is a bit early to be replacing them, but if it was all track time or you used any sort of leaded fuel (race fuel) during that time, they'll last little to no time. Check Bosch for more affordable replacements, albeit still not cheap.
