slightly off topic, how cool would it be to buy a set of new fenders and have them properly worked and widened off the car, with sheet metal..... then just bolt them on keeping your stock ones perfect.....

Now that is a good idea, and would look soo awesome!!

Except that you have to also modify the rear bumper and side skirts as well to match the widen fenders.

I got hit in the same exact spot. Bring it to the back of BMW dealership and ask the body guys to do it for u without going thru dealer. He removed mine without paint damages for 150. Looks brand new!
