hehe, I did a couple video recordings as well.
I was prepping for installing SS Race mufflers, and was curious how my car sounds without mufflers, so here it is =P

First recording is from cold start just idling:

Second recording is startup and a drive around couple of blocks--first with windows down, then windows up. Mostly 3k rpms. One pull to 7k rpm:

lol yeah, I was super curious. I figured why not. I took the mufflers out without using a floor jack! So I felt like I had accomplished a decent task hahaha worthy of a recording or two. It's safe anyhow =P
Actually sounds pretty damned close to having an aftermarket muffler system installed lol..worst case, I might just sell my SS Race

If you've never heard the E46 M3s that run/ran in Grand Am, it sounds just about like them, as well as the Z4M Coupe that my friend ran in '08. They of course had no cats, so it was just that much louder, but similar anyway. Probably too much for the street though. We had the Z4M Grand Am Koni GS car at an event in Denver, had to drive from a hotel to the zoo for the event. I was in the car following it on the streets, it was definitely loud and got all kinds of looks. Had it not been clearly in a caravan, I'm sure it would have been pulled....

LOL that car is crazy done up. Looks like a clown car

Anyhow, I used my brother's Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 HD digital camera to record the videos. Then just uploaded them to YouTube straight from the camera.
