Flat Black M Coupe

Looks awesome, minus the tinted head/tail lights. Is this owned by anyone on this board? If so, any more pictures?

Just my opinion but a lot of work and money for what I don't think is an improvement.

looks nice, those wrap jobs can get very pricey though and only last a few years (correct me if I am wrong)...

you are correct, most places won't guarantee that it'll last beyond 5 years, less if it's not garaged.

For what it's worth, I think it looks pretty cool, and is for the most part well done. If you're going to spend that kind of money, I don't know why you wouldn't just get the actual CF roof and skipped the other wrapping -- it kind of looks cheap and comes across as a bit poseur IMO. The smoked lights actually work here, although now the shiny ///M and BMW badges REALLY stand out. I don't care for the black powder coated wheels. TOO much black. There needs to be a little bit of contrast and some hypersilver or gunmetal might have been better.

To each his own, but I like my cars to look pretty OEM even with mods. I feel like all of these custom paint jobs and whatnot tend to be pretty trendy, and would get old after a few years. Case in point.

But for my 0.02, i think the flat black car looks great! was actualy contemplating doing it myself but chose to buy rims instead

Looks like the guys from Croatia btw so i doubt he's on these boards but its cool knowing another Croatian (I'm a cro) has a Moupe too

The work itself looks really good; and I think the wrap looks good on the car.

BUT, it probably wasn't cheap and I can think of a lot of other things I'd spend that money on before a vinyl wrap.

Why would you go to all that trouble and leave the stock chrome grilles and reinstall the chrome ///M badges? Would you expect to see chrome appendages on an SR-71 or F-117? Plus, you have to go more aggressive than just painted stock wheels to pull that off. Doesn't look very cohesive, or 'finished' IMO.

WHS! Gotta ditch all the chrome if you're gonna do that. Some hyperblack wheels would look good...

Unbelieveable!!! I didnt even know you could do something like that. Honestly I liked the finish product. At the same time I do agree you've gotta get rid of the chrome or smoke the chrome out tooo
