I've wanted 313's for a while but they're so damn expensive... I've seen in 18" but those offsets are for 1-series I think.

the 313's i've got are off of a new e92 335is...

front = 18" x 8.0" et34 | PN = 36 11 6 791 998
rear = 18" x 8.5" et37 | PN = 36 11 6 791 999

these are the exact same fitment that you used on your car with the oe 197's (which, by the way, the pics of yours with those wheels have dropped off zpost. something to do with photobucket.) they do not have "bmw performance" on the lip, and they also do not have any "///m" logo. all of the 18" bmw 313's are made by RONAL, and the 19's are produced by BBS. Lots of info on these wheels can be found in the 3'er photo forum.

i got mine for super cheap, ~$1300/set, through a one-time promotion at the local dealer for bmw performance parts.

that is a sweet deal, please post pics once you've got them on! i've seen similar deals at local dealers but they are for a square setup with the narrower widths. even online discount oem sites list the set for $1388 before tax or shipping...

I know for a 9.5, et 42 is recommended but damn I see some 9.5s with et25 that I really want. That's a difference of +0.67" (past fender)... would it be that bad??? lol

I wouldn't recommend et25 for 9.5s. IMO, the lowest offset I would run is +30 for 9.5s, lowered with a bit more camber. It also depends on the wheel too...lip, deep dish or not. GL

BTW, this is an awesome thread/resource for non-Ms. I'll try to post up pics and specs of the different wheels I've had throughout the years.

call me crazy... but i just got a set of prodrives forged gc 07.
18x8.5 225/40/18 +15 FRONT
18x9.5 255/35/18 +20 REAR.

A little rubbing on super hard turns and going over bumps in a quicker speed. (50km or so) Stock sport suspensions. I'll post some pictures later, It does still out a little in the front and rear.

tire sizes are standard set up
front: 225/40/18-hankook v12

Why does everyone stick with stock tire sizes when going to 8.5 front and 9.5 rear? 225 is the MINIMUM tire width for an 8.5, and 265 seems more appropriate for a 9.5" rim.

Is it some sort of clearance issue?

Obviously going from 225->235 or 255->265 and keeping the sidewall ratio is going to increase the sidewall a tiny bit (3.5-4mm), but honestly, I feel like my tires could use some more sidewall.

I've got 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears, and the previous owner transferred his stock spec tires (Dunlop Star Specs) over to them when he got them. I'm looking to get new tires, and I was planning on increasing tire width by 10mm, but I'm a little concerned by the amount of people on here sticking to stock tire specs.

it depends on offset too! Dark Schnitzer... you have 9.0" in front... what is the offset? are you lowered? do you have extra neg camber up front?

Also, as v3.0si, what's the offset? The last owner says mine is at stock offset which I assume is 47 front 50 rear. I haven't tried to confirm this, though. I can see how 9's would rub in the front with an offset in the 30s.

you'll certainly want to confirm your offsets before you buy tires that may not fit. if they indeed are 8.5" et47 and 9.5" et50...

18" x 8.5" et47 = 235/40r18
18" x 9.5" et50 = 265/35r18

or

19" x 8.5" et47 = 235/35r19
19" x 9.5" et50 = 265/30r19

I'll have to record the offsets again when I get the wheels pulled again....as I can't recall.

The tires are 30 and 35 series sidewalls.

They're 18s, and those are exactly the sizes I was planning on getting. The previous owner did an alignment after putting on the wheels. I didn't think it'd be necessary again with just a slightly wider tire. Doesn't seem like it should affect toe, although camber might increase a bit. I figured I'd end up adjusting camber anyways as I've read the Ventus V12's wear a little differently than the Star Specs I've currently got on the car. I've got adjustable camber plates/camber arms, so it shouldn't be too hard after I get to take a look at the tire wear.

Edit: By the way, if anyone could identify the wheels on my car, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've looked at pretty much every BMW composite wheel and it's not there. I can't find an aftermarket place that makes it either. Finding the maker would help getting specs a lot.

i've been all through my ETK and "felgen katalog" and am confident that is not an OEM wheel. supporting that argument is the non-OEM centercaps loaded in them. not sure what they are. i'll keep looking.

i think they may be old Linea Corsa wheels. they have a wheel called "Sabina"...

That's definitely the closest I've seen. The lip on my wheels is massive though, and the spokes curve in. The similarity in the spokes is impressive.
