Had anyone tried use the sport button as a switch for something wells?

My idea is to buy a new sport button and use it to activate my 9500ci or others and install where the airbag light is, and install the airbag light in the lighter socket.

Also I'm going to install thermal camera in the front of my car, reverse camera, Iphone connector to access videos, DVD player, and a computer with internet. to use from my nav. screen.

other mods will be a keyless entry system with push start, and no key insert needed (working on it)

can the keys of a 3 series be programed to open doors of my car, not the blade only the remote?

Please post what you think, also any advise or experience that you may had on it.

I just finish the diagram for my push start button complete keyless, just need to install everything now.

Curious how you are doing this keyless start. The normal BMW key for these cars is encrypted to keep the car from being start by any old key.

Is you car now going to start when someone gets in it? e.g. if someone breaks into your car, can they get in and start it up and drive it away?

Or maybe you are doing something else more complex with the ignition. If that's the case, kudos to you... that's a lot of work for simply not having to use a key.
