Transmission shifting question
So I’ve had my lovely z4 since feb and it has been a lot of fun.
I’ve noticed in the lower gears it has a rougher shift or kinda a lunge when shifting in those lower gears Has only 37,000 miles and tranny fluid and filter have never ever been changed Maybe new fluid and filter would smooth out those shifts |

Transmission type is vital when asking a question like this. Automatic was buttery smooth when I drove a new 08 back in the day. I would suggest a fluid change as you said. make sure they do a complete flush to get entirely new fluid in the transmission. I would just use OEM fluid.
