Z4 M coupe

Hello to the Z community!
I have been looking at picking up a M coupe recently and have a question.

Where were these made? Some of this cars show the I.D sticker on the door jam where the manufactures vin and date are listed. On that same sticker, some say "made in USA" and some say "made in Germany"
What gives? Someone clarify this for me.

Thanks

2007 Z4 M Coupe  [0.00]
All Z4 M Coupes were assembled / produced in BMWs Spartanburg, SC USA plant, regardless of what the door jamb sticker says. Even though the drivetrain was definitely produced in Germany.

Hint: the VIN says a lot about country the vehicle was made

And note the prominently-featured Montego Blue 3.0si.

Just sayin'. No particular reason!!!
