Yep, it's an expensive experience. You can't tell me this never happened during testing on the Autobahn. it's a really poor design

Ripped off..

Picked up car recently. Passenger sprayer cover missing. Dealer wanted $175 to replace ( $37 for part, $125 Paint, tax, etc). I just took the part for $37. Maddening to see msrp at $21 and Tischer selling for $17.

Now I am wishing local dealer's soul to the devil.

Local auto paint place tells me it will cost about $300 for me to do in supplies.. things like minimum 1 qt pastic prep (forget name), 1 pt paint, 1 pint clear, 1 pint hardener, etc.

Have aero skirts on the way.. see what local painter wants to paint all 3 pieces. Kind of hoping it's high.. so I can learn. Few other things I would want to paint as well.

I paid $75 to have this piece painted by the collission center that my BMW dealership uses. Make sure you pull the fuse so it doesnt happen again...took me two lessons to learn!

It happened to me once on the way home from the track ....no more though.
Took the squirters out and closed the opening in the bumper.
