BMW Employee Lease Take Over! 2007 M Coupe! LOW PAYMENT!
Hi Guys,
It's me again, but this time it's not my car. I'm helping my manager transfer the lease of her car as she just got a different M vehicle. Please check out the leasebuster posting below: http://www.leasebusters.com/en/detai...t.asp?ID=90627 It's a beautiful Black Sapphire Metallic on Imola Red Nappa Leather 2007 M Coupe. This vehicle is no longer in production and IMHO one of the nicest looking recent BMW on the road today. Her payment is only $738.39 INCLUDING TAXES She is asking for $3000.00 upfront but will not turn down any reasonable offer. She will pay lease transfer costs as well. It is available immediately and is currently not being driven. Here are the particulars: BMW M Coupe. 3.2L Inline 6 333HP Engine from the M3! Black Sapphire Metallic on Imola Red Nappa Leather. 6 Speed Manual Transmission. Premium Package Power Folding Mirrors, Auto Dimming Mirrors, Electric Seats with Driver Memory, Logic 7 Hi-Fi Sound System and Carbon Black Leather Trim ONLY 9 MONTHS LEFT! Enjoy it for the summer. Keep the security deposit of $750 at the end of the lease. Car is in excellent shape. The rubbers are getting low though. This vehicle is normally $1200-$1400/Month Please shoot me an e-mail if interested. davidk@bmwdurham.ca Car is currently not being driven. Thanks again for looking! -David |

Just in case anyone is interested I worked out the math if you want to buy it out and the extra $3000 kills the deal!
$738.39 x 9 Months = $6645.51 + $3000.00 Downpayment = $9645.51 - $750.00 Security Deposit = $8895.51 Then the buyout at $37,948 + Tax (13%) = $42881.24 + $8895.51 = $51776.75 IMO not worth it for a car with 53,000KM's on it when market value for a used one with less KM's is around $45K (Tax in). I wasn't gonna say anything...but there are some statements made that I believe isn't true. The M isn't a 1200-1400month lease payment. There was a lot of trunk money at least $7500 when the car was new. Most people I knew paid $600 or less per month with $3K down when it was new.
Used 07M are going for around $30K to $35K. If the car has 33K miles on it, it's going to be even less. I'm surprised for BMW employee to get so shafted on a deal is surprising by their own dealer. The dealers I know, the employee usually get better rates than what is described here... the $600 a month was offered to the public... 2 of my friends got that deal and another person I bought parts from also got the same deal. So to say they are paying $740/month for being employee is nuts. So in 9 months you just paid 1/3 of a used car? Really bad math. |

Just a note ... the pricing is in Canadian ... and $40-45K is the going rate up here right now for a Coupe. But the good thing is the price seems to be creeping up now that they are finished the production run

I thought money exchange was fairly comparable... I will retract what I said then...my apologies if the Canadian market is so vastly different.
BTW, your cars don't have euro headers to they? |

Well looking on autotrader.com
Well looking on autotrader.com for Ontario for Z4M Coupes the asking prices range from a low of $43k to a high of $50k. As there are no real options so to speak on the car (ie. sat nav) being offer here on the site, and it's common knowledge that you can negotiate a better deal than list, this one on offer is not at all a good deal. Sorry but it's about $8-10k more that you can get the car for from other vendors in Ontario.
