IIRC, the bulbs are already white. The surrounding area is orange. So unless you're willing to shatter the orange out of the lamp, the mod is undoable.

FYI - I replaced one of the front turn signal indicators this morning - the bulb is a clear H21. BTW, replacing the inside bulb is a bit more tricky than the outside bulb - requires that you remove the wheel.

Rick is right the only way to get rid of the orange is to shatter the orange glass casing that surrounds the bulb...this is what it looks like after...
We looked into LEDs and couldn't find a way to make them work...thats not to say someone else couldn't but we did spend some time looking into it. Last edited by Luminor; 12-21-2009 at 01:05 PM.. |
