e92 m3 18" wheels

im surprised no-one is using these, the offsets are bang on really ALITTLE aggressive upfront with 8.5 and +30 offset but with -2.6ish camber thy should tuck in nicely..... the rears are perfect offsets for the z4m... i think these would really look the business imo....

anyone running these or considered it??

I wouldn't call 18mm outer over stock bang on. Not at all trying to flame or anything, but for example this is a how 8,5x18 ET35 (5mm LESS outside than ET30) looks like with cca -1 camber from top.

Yes, you can cure some of that with 2.6 camber but there's more to it, than just fitting it under the fender as HACK recently posted http://www.zpost.com/forums/showpost...59&postcount=8

being a nitpick here... the fronts are 8.5" et29. not that 1mm matters much when you're already past aggressive; i'm just one for being accurate.

anywho... TAKU has already done this...

holy shit.... cant believe a 35 offset sticks out that much!! i guess camber makes all the difference...

my et32 sits well within the fender with a -2.5..... which really dials out some of that understeer and still gives a decent wear from the tyres with the amount of track action my car see's, if anything id like to bump that camber to -2.6 when my Clubsports go on...

imho... 8.5" et29 is too much for a track car; however, that doesn't mean it's too much for your car. "to each his own", as they say.

somebody on here with arc8's has way more aggressive offsets than that. i think he's running more neg camber up front than in back.

i'll see if i can find the thread.

yeah it seems so.... et32 with -2.5 works really well, that extra few mm just pushes it to far i guess... well, at least that cleared that up anyhow.... ow well!!

Installed!

I installed these today. I picked them up off of Craigslist for $800! I mounted them on Dunlop Direzza DZ101s 235/40-18 on the front and 275/35-18 on the rear. No issues with rubbing with the H&R coilovers installed and no spacers required. Since I mounted these I will be putting my Advan TCIIIs up for sale, so look for those.

Those look great jthorst, do you have any closeups on the fronts ? The rears I'm not worried about but the fronts concern me since i like to run 245s up front. How much camber are you running to get no rub ?

That is quite possibly the best looking OEM wheel on a Z4M... and by quite possibly, I mean absolutely. I'll be picking up a set for myself!

Looks great man! These are one of the few wheels I've actually thought about buying. If you come across another set for sale let me know. And maybe I can come check them out sometime.

The Advans would sell better if they were a darker color. Gunmetal looks great on that red car

Beedub, don't you have a set of RAC or something custom wheels on order?

Wow, that looks super clean.

+1 on front camber specs. It doesn't look like it took all that much, the angle looks pretty conservative.

I'm running an ET35 up front on my track wheels w/around -3 camber and it looks like I could easily get away with a 10" spacer. In fact, I may even try it tonight to see if it works. I ran a ET30 up front last year at the track and never had one rubbing issue (with camber bolts)

Albuquerque offers some crappy roads and some windy roads and I didn't get any issues with these at all. I have about -2.5 camber but I think the no issues is due to the 235s possibly. I insatlled 10mm spacers all around and they didn't need them and plus it looked very silly with them. Anyways I am quite happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.
