Looking for a functional used AC compressor. Mine has sprung a small leak. If anyone is parting out a car let me know!

Where is your leak? I had oil drips on mine, but placed a sponge under the rear c-clip port to catch them.

Apparently it's leaking near the clutch. My Indy noted it to me after I had it in for a coolant flush. I have to get it up on jack stands to inspect for myself today but preliminary searches shows a new part won't be cheap. So yours leaks and you're just catching the leak? My AC still works but I had it charged last year because I was getting warm air. Most likely due to this same leak. I think eventually all the gas and oil will leak out and will cause not only warm air but compressor failure. I guess it's debatable how long until happens but I'd like to get ahead of it and swap it out.

Mine leaks in the rear but at a place where I can catch the oil residue. It isn't leaking 'freon', blows cold. The front seal leak is tougher to catch, and replacing the compressor is always easy. Still, they are rebuildable if you want to venture there. I had to rebuild mine at one point.

I would love to try to rebuild it. Where did you source the parts (I.e. seals) for the rebuild?

Just get some snap ring pliers, tear it apart, and find/replace o-rings.
