If they request payment via Western Union or some kind of money wire to an address in Nigeria, you betcha. Or the car has salvage / flood title. Did you pull the Carfax?

I'm not interested. Too far away, and too sketchy, but if I was w/in 75 miles I might go check on it.

How do you know where it is located? I see nothing about its whereabouts in the listing.

Hmm.. normally location is shown. Definitely fishy, but you never know - someone may have more cash than sense and already have a new M6 in the garage and just want to get rid of it quickly. Or it may be some sweaty dude in a Western Union office in Nigeria.

It claims to be "blue" and looks like it indeed is probably Monaco Blue.. only 36 M coupes in that color in the states. Very rare indeed.

id recon that bloke in Nigeria could probably make more cash selling fake Ibola vaccinations, rather than plugging M-coupes

HAS to be a scam or else something is seriously wrong with it. I mean, really, think about it. Look at other Z4M's and their mileage and prices. Either it' a misprint, something's seriously wrong with the car, or it's a total scam. One of the three. Hell, maybe ALL three. No M gets sold at THAT price with THOSE miles. NEVER!!!!! No place, no how!!!

Looking at the same vehicle on "cars.com" iPhone app, it appears to be "Diane" in Framingham, MA.

THIS CAR AD IS A SCAM OF MAJOR PROPORTIONS.

I inquired about the car and got an e-mail back. Being suspicious, I began to search the internet and located this e-mail...

Hello,

I apologize for the delay in replying, the car is still for sale if you want to buy it. I hate long emails so I'll try to be brief. The car belonged to my father who passed away this year after a long bout with cancer, unfortunately my current situation forces me to sell it. It comes with a clear title, no liens/loans, no accidents, no problems whatsoever, also I was named executor in his will so there won't be any legal problems regarding the sale of the car (title transfer).

I decided to sell the car one month ago before my assignment in Spain as Military Advisor and I had a buyer who decided to buy the car but his loan was rejected by his bank after we made all the arrangements. Due to the urgent nature of sale, the asking price has been set at $13,900. It has been reduced because I need to find a buyer before my next assignment on April 22th, and I don't want to waste more time negotiating.

If you have any questions about the car or if you want more photos please feel free to ask.

Thanks for your interest, hope to hear from you soon.

THIS IS THE EXACT E-MAIL I RECEIVED, RIGHT DOWN TO THE DYING DAD!!!!!!! The car was a different one as was "her" name. With the Z4M, she calls herself Donna Carter. Otherwise, the body of the e-mail was identical!!! THIS IS A FRAUD CASE!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR!!!!!!

Someone puts these cars up at a ridiculously low price for some reason. The SAME e-mail sent to 2 different people concerning 2 different cars 7 months apart? Sure sounds shady to me.
