what wheel size for a widebody?

Hey Guys,

We're in the process of making a widebody kit for the Z4, and were wondering what wheel size should we go with it.

The kit will be 2.75" or 7cm wide in the back and about 2" in the front or 5cm.

We were thinking 20x11 +28 in the back and 20x9 +28

What do you guys think? what do you guys suggest?

Thanks,

As someone who tracks his car I'd be more interested in fitting something larger up front , I'm running 18x9 f 18x10 now without rubbing . The car could really use a a 18x10 or 18x11 square setup . For track use . I don't think anyone would buy a wide body kit that didn't allow a sig wider wheel up front .

I think 11" would be good for 315mm, which gives you a nice set of options for high performance tires. I think 335mm would be overkill, and anything less than 305mm isn't far off from what you can fit under the stock fenders

I'd be interested in fitment testing on my car, if you guys need a car for the weekend, or to sponsor.

Are these going to be fender flares (like for a 270z) or an actual widebody to replace the quarter panels?
