Z4 M engine braces

I'm not sure how many of you have experienced this but the front end was making some noise when I went over rough pavement, driveway entrances and sometimes even when I would turn the wheel. Turns out the two braces under the hood were slightly loose. There was no movement when using your hand to shake the brace but taking a wrench to the nut showed they were just slightly loose. Tightened them right up and problem solved! Noise is gone and the feel is back to normal.

If you have experienced this, do you find that this happens over time and simply needs to be re-tightened every so often? I'm gonna add this to my maintenance checklist moving forward.

Thanks for the heads up. Do you happen to know what the TQ spec is or where I can find it? I took it to an independent German shop and yes, he just tightened them up.

Awesome. I'm going to pick one up. From what I've been reading, seems like the tension should be 41Nm.
