Looking for a car
I need help finding a daily driver! So tired of chasing cars sellers say are "awesome" but are actually "awful"! Here are the basics I'm looking for: 2004 to 2008 Convertible 3.0 6 Speed MANUAL Prefer SI Must have Sport button Clean Title (exceptions are Theft or Hail) I'm not a professional mechanic but I can rebuild just about anything so a "fixer-upper" that isn't too far gone would be just fine. Last, but not least, REALISTIC $ expectations for true condition of car. Thank you |

Not a big fan of the "shit box" because usually by the time you spend the money to replace all the parts (even providing your own labor) you could have had a descent car to start with.
"Pristine" is usually a garage queen that hasn't been driven enough to keep the seals and other parts from deteriorating anyway and the owner wants a fortune for it. So my budget would probably be somewhere in the middle? However, I am willing to look at any situation that would be a great deal and I'm ready to pull the trigger when I find the right car for me. |
