My winter beater/daily driver
I sold my E70 X5 4.8i back in November 2012 after I got rear end and had nothing to tow anymore. I drove my GF Honda CRV last winter because the Z4MC was my only car and didn't want to drove it all winter long.
Last summer, I started looking for a DD/winter beater. I was looking for a pre-LCI BMW E91 xi, manual, sport package, low mileage, no beige or gray interior, NAV if possible, below 20K. I didn't found anything. I also considered an E90 xi with same criteria and same thing, nothing catched my eyes. A friend of mine had a E46 M3 and a E46 325 xit. He was looking to switch to a E92 M3 and sell both car. So I bought his Touring/wagon at the end of October 2013. It's a 2005 325 XIT Schwarz II exterior with black interior, sport package, manual seats, no sunroof, with 130000km (80k miles). Here is the list of mods it got so far: -M Tech II front bumper with Clubsport front splitters -Black kidney grill -Angel eyes -Clear corner lights and clear side markers -E46 M3 side mirrors -Roof rack delete -Golf tee mods for the muffler valve -E46 M3 front wheels with winter tires -KW V1 coilovers -E46 M3 front strut brace -330 328x25 front brakes upgrade -SS brake lines on 4 corners -1-1/4'' hitch -E46 M3 tri-stitch color steering wheel -BMW Performance alcantara shift boot -BMW Performance alcantara handbrake boot with aluminum handle -Z4M brake and clutch pedal covers -///M dead pedal -Clutch stop and CDV delete -Tint windows I also have a set of CCW Lm20 18x8.5 et38 18x9 et38 that I will put on next summer. I will also paint the chrome trims around the windows soon! And those are the new wheels for the Z4MC for 2014: AC Schnitzer Type II in 19x9 et21 and 19x10 et15 with 245/35 and 275/30. I will refurbish the wheels soon |
