Replacing valve cover gasket, replace CPV assembly at same time?

So what's the likelihood that a fully/partially plugged CPV assembly caused my leaky valve cover? Car is 10 years old with 70k miles.

I'm ordering all the parts from BAV Auto to replace the valve cover gaskets and nut gaskets along with 6 spark plugs and I am debating if I should order their crankcase ventilation kit as well. Or would it be a waste of $180 and a couple of hours time?
