Help on buying a buddy's 2006 z4 M coupe

Going to buy a very good friends 2006 Z4 m coupe. He is second owner of Ao8 with "imola red" interior......however the build sheet shows that it is bronze interior and wood dash!........it is imola red and aluminum.........have you ever seen the data base be wrong? Autocheck is clean and rest of build specs are correct. ........I really am bummed about the car as it is in great shape and low miles.

Help?!?

Interior probably swapped out, wood is liked probably least of all the colours and Imola red interior is among the most wanted, if not most wanted. If thats all thats been changed, go for it. Imola seats Rock

If you didn't make an error inputting VIN the only answer is interior swap.

as above interior swaps are very common.
i would not let that get in the way of buying an otherwise great car.

If you really wanted to restore it to original, there would be many people lining up for what is in the car now.
Its a very easy swap.

Yes agree with input....thank you guys....I suspect the original owner had it swapped at purchase....my buddy is 2nd owner and gad the car 6 years......
The car us in perfect shape and score 94 pays on autocheck....only 50k miles....
