Carbon Airbox

I wanna purchase a carbon airbox for obvious reasons.
BUT i dont know much about it. If u have a carbon airbox installed do u need the software? and what about the sensors do u get some alarms on your dashboard?

I really would love to know everything bout carbon airboxes and need help from people here who know anything about it

Intake kits (or airboxes for that matter) should not give you any error/fault codes unless you somehow damaged or misplaced the MAF sensor or have a leak somewhere by not connecting/sealing hoses correctly. Honestly though, I wouldn't bother with it. As stated, the ones out there require a lot of custom work to be fitted into the car and/or cost a lot of money, for minimal gains if any. Some have shown to actually lose some power overall, perhaps even with a ECU tune. The factory airbox is probably still the best performance-wise. If you really want CF, may I suggest wrapping your factory airbox in CF vinyl?

I wouldn't mind the option of having a CF airbox that somehow increased power.
