New exhaust. Me likey
Eisermann race no drone. Just throwing that out. With the Gruppe M it sounds faster. Is it? Sadly I really dont care. Not as loud as the Diablos but I can have a conversation. Sounds better at WOT too. Much better.

Thats a sweet exhaust, if it was cheaper it would be much more popular.

Glad you like it! I'm surprised it is not as loud as the Diablos. Unfortunately, I've never personally heard any other exhaust besides stock. Do you still have the drone at around 2k rpm? Does the Gruppe M drown out the exhaust? Thanks!

Not close to being as loud but no drone also. Compliments the intake wonderfully. Ordered a SS x-pipe this weekend to experiment. If thats too much Ill sell for say $600 plus ship. But I think it will make it perfect. They definently get louder as they warm up, opposite of the Diablos. No rasp or bee sound just refined

Gonna hold off on the xpipe. The last thing i need is some bumpkin cutting and welding on my ride. I can see it now. Pipes welded to einsenmans and everything crooked. Plus If it was bolt on and I did not like I could just unbolt not cut off. Nope. Don't trust anyone enough to cut up a 2008 under warranty.

That's what my problem is as well.
With the SS system, the rear cans have adapters to mate up to the OE X-pipe. When I had the SS X-pipe for my roady, it was just a slip fitter.

From what I've been told, you just take the SS X-pipe and get it flanged from a reputable shop. Then it'll fit every other aftermarket exhaust out there. Supersprint's own cans just slide on and clamp down. So you're really just taking a straight pipe and modding it to fit. No biggie.
I'm about to do exactly that once my x-pipe arrives. |

Ok. I have 14 days before the x-pipe comes from Europe. In this 14 days i must come up with 2 flange couplers for the x-pipe. I have a feeling this will be harder than I think. Keep an eye out for me as I dont want to alter the stock cans to get the flange couplers off of it.

The SS will be slightly too long & will have to be cut back to flange it.
It's a plain trumpet flange, a good shop might be able to flare the end of the SS pipes, instead of welding a separate flange piece in.

Yep that's what I want to do. Have the pipe flared after I put on a flange so it will spin and adjust for the exhaust to get it adjusted. If I have it straight welded on I'd think Id lose that adjustability. Thats why I need to find the flanges. Is that what you mean? See I should have stuck to my guns and done what I swoar to do. NO MODS

So you don't want to cut your stockers off. I get it. I didn't have any reservations about doing it until you put the bug in my head. lol
