FS: DKF Section 1 Coated Cast Iron Grey
I'm putting my brand new DKF Section 1 Coated in Cast Iron Grey from Nitroplate up for sale. Brand new, never installed. Just don't want to deal with potential smog issues since I keep the car in CA. If I lived anywhere else I wouldn't be worried about it. Attached currently are the only two pics I have, basically to illustrate the fine workmanship and coating color - it's actually a little lighter than it appears in the pictures. I'll post more when I get back to CA next week. I paid just over $1300. I'll ask $1200, buyer pays paypal fees and actual shipping cost.

I'm am pretty bummed but I don't want to have to go through all the CA hassle. I'll just hang onto my CSL headers in case I move in the future.

Thanks! I went with grey, honestly, for a more stealthy look for CA inspection and smog testing. But, when it showed up I thought it looked awesome. If it doesn't sell, no biggie. I'll wrap it up next to my CSLs to wait for a time when I can install them.

It's every couple years. I could change them out but what a pain to change headers twice every two years! Just wish CA would kill the sniff for our "old" cars like it looked like they would for a little while.

Has this kit been updated properly with whatever the issue was previously? Comes with entire section 1 's-pipe' to bolt up to the stock or Euro header? Does it have all necessary bungs for O2, EGT and wideband O2? Those are 300-cell cats, right?

Everything is updated and correct. I have to admit that I was a little concerned about how it would look after being corrected but it looks perfect. It does include the S-pipe, two resonators, two cats, and two race clamps. There is an EGT bung of correct size on the S-pipe and an O2 bung on each cat. Apologies, I'm not sure what you mean by wideband O2. I haven't heard that term before. And, yes, 300 cell cats.

You will probably have to put in a bung for your AFR O2 sensor. There are ways of doing this without welding.
