Silver Gray Z4M Coupe- 19" Volk RE30

Hi All,

Finally took a couple pictures of my car with the coilovers (KWV3) and the 19" Volke RE30. I think they look really nice on this car. The tires are PS2's 275 rear and 245 front. They saved nearly 14lbs per corner over the stock wheels and tires. I have the ride height set at about 1 finger (pretty scientific) gap all the way around. Some of you guys wont like the JDM thing but that is fine by me. I love them!

I love the M coupe

Nice to see the set-up you have been talking about.
The stance is awsome. This is a very clean look.

Any rubbing at that ride height?

Thanks. No rubbing yet but I will raise it a little if it does. I will wait a week or so for the springs to settle before I adjust it any.

It looks great. Do you think there's any way you could get the front reflectors painted?

Yes. The shop that installed my parts is actually ordering new reflectors and painting them for me. When they are ready, I will go by to have them installed. Hope to have that done in the next 2 weeks

lovely car however i think silver RE30 on a grey car is a bit boring.... cause Re 30 isn't a particularly interesting design plus the silver and grey is really close. Well if i were u i would have the rims done in a different finish but everyone has their own taste. Overall a very good car and u have some really nice mods.

Yeah...it looks conservative which was my aim. My exhaust draws enough attention. I may do some subtle mods like carbon fiber roof and lip spoiler.

I like. I have similar color wheels (19" BBS RGRs anthricite) on my silver gray so I am biased.

I want my car to be a bit lower like yours...I just installed Dinan springs (last week)...mostly for a bit of added cornering stiffness. They lowered the height by about 1/2 inch.

BTW the Dinan springs worked quite well at the track to reduce body roll and improve cornering....all for $300 and a few hours to install.

I think the wheel color is perfect for the car. If you painted them body color, then it would be too boring

but if they were a brighter silver or polished, they would be too much for the conservative color of the car

Yep- I bought the wheels and tires used as a package. The 4% extra diameter means I am off 3 mph at 60 (reads 57mph). Since I have a 4.10 I am not worried about losing a little gearing. Also, the roads here like a war just happened. Snow plows have really destroyed the roads so a little extra comfort and wheel protection is alright by me. The tires probably have 3K miles on them. When it is time to get new tires, I will evaluate if 275-30-19s are an option considering the roads. Good eye.

Hey Car62- thanks for the handy photoshop work. I wish I was that good with photoshop! BTW, would you be able to try the wheels in anthracite to see how that would look? No worries if it is too muc trouble. Thanks!

That looks great! In my opinion, those wheels look best in 19s and an aggressive offset. Yours are perfect. And your color choice is spot-on, it looks very clean with the grey, almost OEM-looking but much more aggressive with that mean lowered stance. One of the nicest Ms I've seen yet.
