Needing a battery charger

I found this CTEK - 40-206 MXS 5.0 Fully Automatic 4.3 amp Battery Charger and Maintainer 12V in my 'want list' from Amazon. Seems to me that this was the charger of choice for a z4 (04). Does that sound right? Thanks all....

I had a CTEK for years but it ended up failing on me. Currently use the "Battery Tender" brand and have been very happy with it. I keep it on my car at all times.

In the past 2 years I decided to upgrade my various chargers to NOCO's have a Genuis5 and Genuis 2x2. Having so many cars I needed a 2 bank and Lithium capability. NOCO or CTEK are both great but I would get one that does Lithium also. Also got great deals on NOCO GBX75 & 55 boost packs during prime days.

I bought a Noco battery 'jumper' earlier this year. Thing's a beast! Love it. Just not sure that I'll ever go to a lithium..... But thanks for the help.

Kinda think I'll go this direction. Went out to fire 'er up yesterday.......opps, too late. After sitting for ~ 4 weeks, battery was too low to start. Threw on a 1.25A charger & fired off an email to Ctek asking them what was the latest & greatest for the car. Will post it if/when I get a reply.
Thanks all!

I recommend this company's battery maintainer products. I've have 3 of them in constant use for nearly a decade now. I keep an old E90 battery under charge for a 12V test source, my motorcycle, and my zero-turn mower. I used to stand by Battery Tender until they moved off shore. Everyone goes with Ctek, but I think Granite Digital makes a competitive product that should be considered.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Well, I got anxious and after a short search, decided on a Noco Genius 10. Got a 10% discount and it seems like a pretty decent maintainer. Thanks for all your help guys
