Hex Screw on Strut Tower

Hello,

I just installed the OEM e46 M3 strut bar on my Z4M Coupe. It fits perfect as long as I remove the little hex screw near the 3 strut tower bolts. I've read most people just remove them when installing this bar. What are these hex screws used for? Is there any danger to keeping them off?

Thanks

Its for alignment of the struts, remove it and you can adjust camber slightly from stock position. No damage if removed.

Thanks for the reply. So if I remove it, then loosen the 3 strut bolts, there is enough space in the bolt holes to slightly reposition the strut?
