FRP would be destroyed in no time. I'd be 'all in' if they made it in poly.

At this time we are concentrating on a lip design. The plan is to have as much finalized as possible before revealing anything. Basically a "this is what it will look like, and this is what it will cost. Who wants one?" sort of thing. W can then take interest a diffuser/ducktail from there.

JMO but I think there'a a much bigger market for the rear deck spoiler & diffuser than the front lip. A larger number of us already have front splitters.

I'd be intersted in the rear deck spoiler to fit the existing hatch of the coupe. I have gotten a quote from an AC Schnitzer dealer for a primed unit. I would want to paint mine regardless. Any chance of a primed/poly/fiberglass unit? I haven't seen a price quote or design yet for the rear deck spolier.

I think you guys are a bit late for the lip. APR already had a successful GB, and Nikki is releasing her lip soon too, if not already received payment for some. |

I have a set of molds for the Z4 hatch already finished. Perhaps I should pull a glass part and mock up a duck style rear spoiler ?? SSK....are you already deep into mock up for this ?? |

If you guys are serious about the hatch, Challenge already has the engineering and tooling as they made a one-off for a customer before. Very pricey though. If you are interested, contact him about this...the reason he didn't release it is because it's a pretty cost prohibitive piece, but he said he can make more.

SSK and I are going after a specific lip design...we both like the Challenge M3 lip a lot and think a similar style would go nicely on the E85/86 M's. I've yet to see something like this...realizing that there are many lips available, I'm not crazy about any of the designs. We are also hoping to end up with a piece with "optional" brake ducts a la the GT4 M3 lip (basically they will cut the lip for the ducts for an additional charge)

Just make sure to try and keep costs down! A lot of recent projects headed by fellow Z enthusiasts are still very costly unfortunately. Really detracts from buyers' market A fiberglass or CF hatch would definitely be a feasible down the road, if I decide to dedicate my car as a track-only vehicle At that point, I'd do lexan window along with the hatch, or equivalent. Any idea how much that would be as far as a combo goes? I've not looked into any of that stuff yet. |

An cost effective add on spoiler would have far more appeal than a complete hatch replacement.
