I shall use a european exhaust by Schmiedmann made in Italy
Is that an off the shelf exhaust for an M that you're going to mod to fit the 3.0si or do they make dual exhausts for the si?

The exhaust is made for the non-M models.

It looks like this:

My newest mod: Alcantara headliner

Have done some alcantara work over the years. But not as big and difficult as this.

I used original alcantara in colour shade 9002

The A and B pillars was pretty easy and simular to what I have done before.

The roof section was hard and took a lot of work to be perfect.

I had to split it in three sections because of the curved shapes of the headliner

It is hard to make good pics in day light

Sunvisor will have to be retrimmed, so will do that later with my steeringwheel

Never seen a alcantara headliner on a Z4 Coupe, was it possible to get as an option?

I have the same leather texture in my seats. (black seats)
I also have the extended leather option.
But I have a pre-facelift car.

Sometimes you see this strange piece of leather. I don't know if this is only with cars that have the extended leather option.

I like the alcantara roof liner.

Didn't you have leather A pillar covers?

How is the supercharger coming? Is it already in?
Does ESS already have a z4 tune? or does your car have to go to Aremark?

That's probably a pretty special (race) car on that carlift.

I have seen Z4s with extended leather and not having the texture! Strange!!

No, I had no leather A pillars, I think its just the roadsters that have this.

I have to approve my suspension by something simular to Tuv first. Then I can mount my Supercharger. The approval will be done next week, then I'm hoping to mount it in the car.

I have a friend that runs a ESS shop in my city. He will do the remap with dyno.

Have been to Aremark ones before with my 2.2

Yes I've also seen extended leather without the patch, but (i think) never without extended leather but with patch. First I thought it may have been production year, but that's also not the case. I think yours is the first facelift I've seen with that patch.

Yes I know
They where painted black first, but I found them so dark that it was hard to see the details of the headlight. Then I painted them dark grey.

I see now that I have to do this prosess over again
But have an ide this time on how to make them stand out more

Thanks for all magic words

Whats next! Z4M front and H&R rear sway bars. Z4M front lower control arms. Performance brakes... Much more....

Also new exhaust tips, do not like what I have today.

My supercharger build are closer than ever. I planned to mount the supercharger by myself and get som help with the tune from my friend, that have an tuning garage with dyno.

But today I got a call from ESS, they was wondering if they could develope and install my E90 3 series kit on my car for very little money.

Of course I said yes, and next week it goes to the ESS HQ here in Norway for the build. This will be their first install of N52 kit in a Z4. They will also do dyno runs before and after.

Really looking forward to this

I for one, will be buying this kit if it would work on a n52 2.5si with 91 RON (87 AKI) fuel. Seems like finally we could get the power we want in our cars.

Great, thanks

Bought me some small, but nice parts

My Z looks like an Z4M now, but I don`t want the M badges. So have sold the M steering wheel trim to StigJ on this forum. Then bought me some Individual parts

A little mod to the ZHP gear knob

Apparently there is already a korean guy that has the ESS n52 kit in his z4:

http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=80107
http://blog.naver.com/osstar/220454758169
I have no real details on this kit...

Do you know what the exact differences are between the normal z4 front lower control arms and the z4m front lower control arms?

I know the z4 control arms are the same as the e46 front control arms and the z4m control arms are the same as the e46 sports package control arms.

Is it possible that the z4m control arms (sport package control arms) have a little bit more camber? (about 23' (=23 seconds degree))

Nice find, ESS said that they have sold a couple of n52 supercharger kits to some Z4 clients. But never tried to install them self. So now they will adjust the kit, so it can be bolt on to the Z4 as well

I delivered the Z at ESS test center in Norway yesterday, so looking forward to pick it up again

I have bought the E46 M3 control arms, I think it has some changes to the camber, but don't no how much. They say that it gives a better steering feel
