Just Installed TCK DA's on the Coupe
The car sits surprisingly higher than I thought. The fronts are pretty much as low as it goes, could go another 1/4" max lower but I left few threads just to be safe. The rears can go lower but didn't want negative rake. I chose the standard spring lengths TCK supplies with their kits. Compared to my AST's that I just pulled off, these sit about a good 1/2" higher.
Rates are 400/500 which is pretty soft but Koni adjustables don't handle high rates to begin with. I had gone as high as 550/650 previously with my AST's but looking back I prefer the lower rates with stiffer bar up front. Car is pictured Volk RE-30s 18x8.5" with 255 AD08R's square. -3.0* with 0 toe up front, -2.5* with 1/16th total toe-IN on the rears. Just mounted the tires yesterday, next event is in few weeks at the Glen. My last trip at the Glen was pretty uneventful seeing how the 2 front shocks were badly in need of a rebuild. I was driving at 7/10ths if that lol. But with exhaust and suspension done, I can finally enjoy the car for rest of the year! |

ride height looks perfectly functional to me... is it the pic or is your rear fender damaged / pulled slightly?
can you post some more up close detail pics?

Thanks I've had these almost as long as I've owned the car. I just wish I had gotten wider but at the time I was running stock suspension and this was the best width/offset to run 245-255. Now that I have more camber dialed in I know I can run 9.0-9.5" with mid 30 offset.

I ran other wheel setups but this still gives me most margin of error. Running 255 r-comps on a 9" is very hit or miss when it comes to rubbing. 8.5" might not be the most flushed look but it's functional and adding or removing a 5mm spacer is easy enough.

Next track day is 2nd weekend of June. I was just up there few weeks ago so I should have a good basis for comparison. Thanks for the kind words. And I agree, everyone needs a set of Aero sides! |

On a semi-related note, I really LIKE the Ground Control Hybrid (street) camber plates. No NVH and relative to my Vorshlag the steering feels so much tighter (the electric steering feels more hydraulic, weird I know). The only downside is no real caster adjustment but wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'll report track feedback in 2 weeks =D |
