Help: Need Scott/Turbotoys Contact Info

My M is in the shop for inspection II and he found a broken tab. I'd like to order the C300 hub from Scott/Turbotoys but would like to speak with him and see if he can expedite. There is no phone number on his website, just the order page.

Does anyone have contact info for him?

Thanks,

Stickmon, did you buy the C300 or the Cryo hub from Dr. Vanos? He doesn't have any C300s in stock. Said he is due some in a few weeks. If I can't get one in the very near term from Scott, I'll get a Cryo hub from Dr. Vanos and have him drill new holes in my disk.

I know I should feel lucky that the broken tab didn't cause any damage...but I kinda don't.

Thanks for letting me know Scott is also on Zpost. I'll pm him here as well.

C300.
Bummer on the availability.
When I went through this I got lucky as he had just gotten some in that day.

I heard back from Scott, he's got a hub he can ship to me. Very relieved.

While it's in transit, I had a thought of asking my mechanic to putt the Vanos and inspect the disk to make sure the hole(s) aren't really torn up. If they are in bad shape I would have him ship to Scott to drill new holes.

Thinking more about this, if only one tab is broken how much damage to that hole could there be? It's not as if the hub was rotating out of synch with the disk. Thoughts?

the damage to the holes can be due to excessive hammering of the tabs.
I believe worn holes is one of the causes of a broken tab.
I think it may be one of these chicken or egg things for which happens first, but usually if a tab is broken the holes are likely out of spec too.

JMO, but if you are in this deep already, why not get the holes redone as well?

I'm considering it. I'll ask my mechanic to tell me the condition of the holes and go from there.

Do you know where Scott ships out of? Not sure if it's worth him overnight shopping the hub or going with 2nd of 3rd day.

This much. I ran it like this for about 30k miles with no damage to the C300 hub.
The previous owner of the hub in my Dr. V rebuilt Vanos also had a nibble on both holes, but not quite as bad as mine was.

Three weeks and my car is finally back where it belongs. It took 4 days to get the hub and by then my mechanic was deep into his schedule of other work. He tried to finish up before the shop closed for vacation but he couldn't make it and I didn't pressure him since I truly didn't need the car and he didn't give me any hassle about installing a part he didn't source. He cut me a break in the end I feel He did the valves, new spark of plugs, changed Vanos filter, O rings and sealer plate, installed the new exhaust hub and did a general inspection of the car for $1,050 all in.

Address your exhaust hub. Either a redrilled disc or a new hub. It's not a matter of "if" you'll break a tab.
