Door Courtesy Lights
I was looking at what Amazon had for Z4 accessories and found the referenced courtesy lights.
My questions is if I don't currently have door lights was the wiring installed for them? |

I was looking into this before, BMW sells them as well as accessories, however looking at our doors and the fact that there is no slot to install them I figured it wouldn't work without modifications. Maybe someone else can chime in as well.

I was feeling around under the door and thought I felt a indented area where the light would go. I didn't get down and look at it which is what I should have done. If that is the case then I wouldn't want to modifiy the doors either.

Z4s don't have the puddle lights in the door. We have footwell lights.
Someone did modify their doors to have puddle lights. It involves cutting and wiring. You can purchase the puddle lights and they'll fit in the foot wells. Ends up looking like this if you relocate the driver's side (which requires cutting a new hole) |
