Why I love my Z4.
My husband doesn't understand why I don't want a new car. As the original owner I barely have 48,000 miles on it, mostly highway miles. Since its a 2007 I have gotten new tires, new battery, had mirrors repainted, 2 sets of windshield cowls/seals, new front struts, replaced window regulator, a $700 sensor and routine maintenance. I have had problems with navigation system, but other than that no problems. I love to drive it and still get a lot of compliments on it. People can't believe its a 2007. I have never had a car this long but why buy a new car??? Oh, I also got a nice black/silver enamel SIG car emblem. ;-)

He doesn't understand it? He likes trucks? Doesn't get "BMW?" Not a car person at all?
Not everyone will understand one's passion for something. But your outlet such as this forum puts you in touch with people that do! |

10- 12 years is a good minimum to hold a car... I got 8 years out of my battery. Virtually no other expenses apart from routine maintenance for me, but I have only 36,000 km.
