Radio, Bluetooth, Phone Problem?
So i am driving home yesterday from work with the radio on when all of a sudden no sound. The radio is on because i can still see the stations can switch am and fm etc just no sound. So i decided to check my phone which is paired with the car phone works but no sound thru the car. I do not know that it is even ringing but it is because the person i tried to call is trying to call me back but i cannot get it thru the car so i try and answer the phone it self no luck. I guess you can not answer the phone when it is communicating with the car. So i pull off the road turn the car off and back on and everything is working fine. Did i run into aliens? dead spot?

What kind of phone. This has happened once with my iPhone, but there is an option on the screen on what source to use so I just switched it to iPhone from BMW and I could hear.
My phone automatically links so even if I am talking with the phone to my ear my radio turns off, which is nice. That would probably explain the radio part but not the 'not being able to talk or hear' part.

You have alien problems. My lg doesn't do that. Rings, cuts off radio, talk to the wheel, hang up, radio back on by itself. Maybe my car is smarter. You all drive coupes, right?

My Blackberry curve works fine with the steering wheel controls. The radio goes off, and then returns once I am done with the call. The quality of the talking on the phone is not good, but almost everyone else has that problem too. Haven't had a problem not being able to answer the phone though. Rosie
