Was this a good deal?

I am just curious for your opinions on a past situation:

In Fall of 2007 I traded a 2004 Z4 2.5i 35,000 miles, my payment was $600 a

month. (auto transm. prem pkg, sport pkg. conv. pkg. heated seats, hi-fi

audio) weird color combo (red exterior, black inteiror, beige top). I owed

$18,500. The dealer paid the entire balance, gave me back $1400.00 and

leased a brand new 2007 Z4 3.0i (silver gray metalic/black) with ( auto

trans. premium pkg. heated seats, xenon lights, bluetooth, leather, 3L 215 HP

with no downpayment and for $609.00 a month, 3 years, 15000 miles per

year. What you think?

Sounds like you just got a different Z, not really sure if it was a good deal. Depends on the condition of your trade.

ehh.. it was decent, but for 600/month I'd be hoping it was a M. Anyone can lease a 3.0 roady for 379 a month.

I purchased my 3.0si brand new and only pay a bit more than that a month... Could have done better IMO. Then again I could have done much better (about $7-8K better from what I read on here)

When getting a car (either leasing or buying), look at the price of the vehicle, the monthly payments aren't always an accurate picture of a good/bad deal.

At this point, it's said and done. If you're happy with the new car, don't worry about it and enjoy the new Z.

It doesn't matter what kind of deal you got, everyone on this site got a better deal than you did, or their friend did. Be happy with your ride.

Unless you are epbrown. I think he got his new Z4M Coupe cheaper than I got my 3.0si Coupe.
