I got lucky and picked up a great condition set of Stromungs from a board member here. After being disappointed by the RE Diablos (drone, and lack of sound above 4k), I risked the Stromungs and do not regret it for one second. Amazing sound, no drone, it even has the little pops and gurgles when you let off.

From what I've read, RPIs are VERY loud and drone. If you're looking for the car to be civil, but "frisky", I'd say these are a good compromise.

Just my $0.05 (pennies have been discontinued in Canada

just installed mine last wk; some comments;-
-quality A1
-look & fit A1
-sound A1 (tight, no drone, just about perfect)
-butt dyno (feels like its been uncorked, in 3rd and 4th, you floor it and you fly)

I am afraid that I am not getting approval from the house finance committee.... Something about 1 kid in college, 2 more starting college in the fall and do I really need to spend a thousand dollars to make "it sound cooler..." hmmm. I think yes

- but as of yet I am a no-go. Hope to work it before the 7th, but don't count me.

I am potentially interested, but only if I could hear one in person or talk to someone who was heard both Stromung and SS Powerloops in person, as I don't want to swap and be disappointed. So far no one has been able to comment on that...
