stromung exhaust

I have an 07 Z4M and looking to get stromung exhaust.
I am upgrading for the sound. I just want to check with those who have it that you don't lose any power/torque with this exhaust.
thanks much;

My butt dyno didn't notice any difference. But the noise is nice!

Seconded. Nice sound. Very minimal drone. No power loss. I recommend ordering directly from Stromung. Excellent customer service.

I have it and no issue with any power loss. It sounds great and gets better as it breaks in. I do find that I get a slight ting of rust around the tips (inside and slightly out at bottom) if I leave water and dirt on it for an extended period of time. It polishes off clean but I wasn't expecting that. I don't regret buying it and would buy it again.

Expect to wait a while as they don't usually have any in stock and it takes a few weeks to make them. Otherwise customer service was good, just takes time to get the product.

Talking with TCK, it's about a 2-3 week turn around.

Thinking of getting one myself

I like mine as well. Not too loud, not too soft... just right.

I would call Stromung directly to place the order. You'll confirm the wait and establish contact in case you have any questions/issues.

It took a long time for Stromung to replace one defective exhaust. It had a cracked tip about 3 inches. Scot said lots of parts go into the muffler. They do batch runs so depending on timing of production. It took me almost 2 months to receive my exhaust after GB ended.

Love the exhaust note above 4k RPM.

Garage List
I'll second everything everyone has said about the Stromung exhaust. I love the way mine sounds. Almost no drone except at about 75 MPH, but perfect at 80 MPH. At hard acceleration it has a strong, deep, "thunderous" tone which is awesome.

My customer service experience was not exemplary. Communication was minimal, it wasn't shipped until days after I was told it was going to be shipped, follow-up e-mails went unanswered, and then it just showed up, no shipping info provided at all, after I was told they would provide shipping info. I can't think of one other vendor that I've purchased merchandise from in years that hasn't supplied shipping info, who does business like that?

Their website only indicates that it fits the 07-08 M Coupe, I asked here and got confirmation that it also fit the 06-08 M Roadster. I supplied that info to Stromung, who thanked me for the info, but it still hasn't been updated on their website six months later, still listing fitment only for the 07-08 M Coupe. Strange way to run a business, but we're apparently small potatoes for them as they seem to be mostly a Subaru shop.

I'm in Mt. Kisco NY. About 25 minutes from the Tappan Zee bridge. I'd be willing to meet you on the NY shore of the bridge for a spin!
