I think branding officers bad just cuz they are young doesn't help anyone. As enlisted soldiers/airmen/sailors/marines its your duty to obey the orders of the officers appointed over you. Obviously some young officers deserve a hard time, but that doesn't change military customs and courtesies.

LOL, don't get me wrong, I form fresh opinions of my own and give the benefit of a doubt right away. At any rate i'm lucky because in my current spot I get limited contact with em. But yeah, always have to mind your P's and Q's. I don't disrepect. It's just sometimes the decisions they make impact us alot so we channel up an down the almighty chain.

Sunday/Monday I go back to work and see what havoc has been reaped when I return. Course our "funny" officer is gone now, I wonder if we received a new one yet.

Don't worry about it, i'm about as laid back as it get people wise, but that being said there are missions that need to be accomplished and that comes first, maybe you don't have to worry about it as much being in the chair force...Anyway I hate officer generalizations. Yeah some suck, but everywhere you go there are people who suck. Back on topic, right now my occupation is student and I couldn't be happier

I'm a flight dispatcher for a major airline. I work in a control room ensuring safe, legal, and efficient operations for all flights in the sector I work. I'm in direct contact and jointly responsible with captains about aircraft performance, maintenance status, weather avoidance, emergency handling, diverting, etc. Been doing this for 13 years, best job in the world, period.
